Converted my summer at a low/mid BB in the ECM team, however now been offered an analyst role at a MM PE firm (~$1bn AUM). Although my team at the BB is far from prestigious I’m just looking to hear some other opinions before I accept the PE offer, one thing catching me off guard is that most of the IP come from non-MBB consulting backgrounds so I’m wondering if this is really a good exit.
